I play outfield and middle infield for The Lady Panthers at DHS as well as for Firecrackers DFW Martinez 18U. I love playing softball and I am very passionate about the game. I'm committed to improving my knowledge and fundamentals daily through hard work and dedication. I'm excited to bring my skills, leadership, and personality to the next level in college softball! Tell us a little about yourself and your softball journey.

I’ve played softball for 10 years now. Growing up I was a bit girly and didn’t really enjoy sports, working out, or anything including sweat. My mom put me into softball because it was something she enjoyed growing up, and I grew to enjoy it as well.

What made you fall in love with softball?

I love being able to pick up my glove, bat, or even just a ball and being able to block out all the noise in the world.

What do you consider your biggest strength on the field?

My biggest strength on the field would be my speed and flexibility. Being able to play multiple positions on the field and being fluent at them is important.

What part of your game are you working hardest to improve?

My mental toughness.

Who has had the biggest influence on your softball career, and why?

My brothers have had the biggest influence on my career. They love to show up and show out when possible, and love to see me succeed with a smile.

What’s your favorite softball memory so far?

My favorite softball memory is just traveling with my mom and the team I love.

What does being a great teammate mean to you?

Being a great teammate to me is being able to show up for your teammates and coaches on and off the field. It’s being an overall good person with good intentions.

What are your biggest goals for your high school and travel-ball career?

My biggest goal is to continue learning. There’s so much knowledge that’s passed down and around from player to player, coach to coach and so many different point of views that really keep me open minded about ball.

What are you looking for in a college softball program?

I’m looking for somewhere I can just play like water with no worries. Not worrying about a bad environment with difficult teammates, or difficult coaches. Somewhere I can continue to grow and get better.

What do you want college coaches to know about you?

I want them to know I’m always hard working and I love a little competition.
