Tell us a little about yourself and your softball journey.

I started playing softball when I was 5 years old, and honestly, I fell in love with it right away. Growing up, I was never the biggest or strongest kid on the field, but that only made me want to work harder and prove to myself what I could do. I’ve pushed myself through every challenge and kept going, and that’s helped me become the player I am today. I’ve been with the Firecrackers for over 5 years now, and it’s become so much more than just a team to me. These girls, the coaches, the memories, and everything we’ve been through together have made it feel like home. Softball has been such a huge part of my life, and I wouldn’t change my journey for anything.
What made you fall in love with softball?
I fell in love with softball because of how it made me feel when I was on the field. Even when I was little, I loved competing, being part of a team, and always having something to work toward on the weekends. I loved the feeling of getting better and seeing all my hard work pay off. Over the years, it’s become more than just a sport to me. It’s where I’ve made some of my best memories, met some of my closest friends, and learned so much about myself.
What do you consider your biggest strength on the field?
I’d say my biggest strength on the field is my presence. I’m a very vocal player, and I’m not afraid to use my voice and take control when I need to. I bring a lot of energy to the field, and I feel like my teammates feed off of that. Whether it’s encouraging my teammates, communicating during a play, or keeping everyone locked in, I make sure I’m always involved. I want my teammates to know that they can count on me.
What part of your game are you working hardest to improve?
One part of my game I’m always working to improve is my softball IQ and my overall knowledge of the game. I’ve been putting more time into studying pitchers and hitters, paying attention to their tendencies, and learning how to recognize things before they happen. I want to be able to slow the game down in my head, understand what’s happening, and always be one step ahead.
Who has had the biggest influence on your softball career, and why?

The person who has probably had the biggest influence on my softball career is Coach Donnie. He’s our pitcher and catching coach, and he’s taught me so much, not just about the physical side of the game but about how to actually think and understand it. Over time, we’ve built a really strong relationship, and I’m grateful for how much he’s invested in me and my development. He’s helped me look at softball from a completely different perspective and taught me to see things I didn’t notice before. A lot of the way I think about the game now comes from things he’s taught me, and I know I wouldn’t be the same player I am today without him.
What’s your favorite softball memory so far?
My favorite softball memory has to be winning our tournament and getting our berth to Alliance Nationals in Arizona. It was such a special moment because of how much work we had put in to get there. Being able to celebrate that win with my teammates and knowing that all of our hard work had paid off was something I’ll never forget.

What does being a great teammate mean to you?
To me, being a great teammate is about being a leader, but also being a sister. It’s not just about what you do on the field or how you play. It's about being there for your teammates in all the little ways. Sometimes it’s as simple as picking someone up in the dugout, bringing their stuff in between innings, or checking on them when they’re having a bad day. I want my teammates to know that I have their back no matter what. I think true leadership is showing up for the people around you, making them feel supported and doing the little things without expecting anything in return.
What are your biggest goals for your high school and travel-ball career?
My biggest goals for my high school and travel ball career are to keep becoming the best player and teammate I can be and to keep pushing myself past what I think I’m capable of. I want to continue developing my l all-around game while competing at the highest level possible. Hoping to one day play at the next level after High school.
What are you looking for in a college softball program?
I’m looking for a college softball program that feels like a family and where everyone genuinely has each other’s back. I want to be somewhere that will challenge me to grow as a player, but also push me to become a better person and teammate. I’m looking for coaches who believe in their players, communicate with them, and help them reach their full potential. I also want a competitive environment where everyone works hard, holds each other accountable, and wants to win. Most importantly, I want to find a place that feels like home and where I can see myself growing and making an impact both on and off the field.
What do you want college coaches to know about you?
I want college coaches to know that I’m someone who is always going to work, compete, and do whatever my team needs from me. I may not have always been the biggest or strongest player, but I’ve never let that stop me from pushing myself and getting better. I bring a lot of energy and leadership to the field, and I’m not afraid to use my voice or hold myself and my teammates accountable. I care about the little things, I’m always looking to learn. Most importantly, I’m the type of player who will give everything I have for my team and the people around me. I want coaches to know that if they give me an opportunity, I’m going to work for it and make the most of it.
